When you are ready to become a member or to be baptized at Celebrate, we offer Exploring Faith. We match you up with a mentor and the two of you will meet for several one-on-one sessions. Through the process, you will discover more about our beliefs at Celebrate, how you can respond to what Jesus has done for us, your own gifts and talents, and your personal faith story.
how to be a disciple
To be a disciple is to be a learner, so to be a disciple of Jesus, we simply learn to be like him. In How to Be a Disciple, through large group teaching and small group discussion, we explore the different ways that we can grow to be more like Jesus. This is offered as a 6-week class or weekend seminar.
how to read the bible
We want to help you gain confidence in your ability to read the Bible on your own and actually get something out of it. In How to Read the Bible, we introduce multiple ways to approach the Bible and practice those methods together as a group. Our hope is that you discover tools that work well for you so that after the 6 weeks, you will continue to dive into the Word on your own with confidence!
how to pray
Prayer can be intimidating for many of us. In How to Pray, we want any fear and doubt to diminish so that you can feel empowered to not just talk to God but to hear from Him as well. Small groups of people gather for 6-weeks and explore different methods of prayer together. We want you to be comfortable when praying on your own, praying out loud, and praying with and for other people.
For more information about any of these classes or when they will be offered again, contact Aubrey Schneider.
Prayer is a great way to grow deeper in your walk with the Lord. We offer several prayer opportunities for you to participate in throughout the week. On Sunday mornings, a group gathers to pray over congregational requests and the Sunday morning worship service and ministries. On Wednesday evenings we offer prayer in our worship center and throughout the year we have prayer initiatives happening in our prayer room, The Well. *Our Wednesday evening prayer gathering is on a break through the holiday season. We'll resume in early 2020.
